This is worse then the Custom Tab. The custom tab could be avoided... The problem is that people pay a LOT of money for a dedicated server to run game servers. If there is no way to get any benefits from a L4D server, people will be less likely to host. Plus, companies that only sell server wont be able to sell server if people can't play on their own server.
Seems like a whole lot of problems.
