Will there be an update at any point this week to fix the DX8 crashes on class selection and map change?

Our apologies for not announcing the optional update yesterday. It’s main purpose to fix the infinite loop bug in pathfinding. I’ll send our another email with a different title regarding the multi-hones problem. Today's update is not required for dedicated servers. Yes, steam.inf was updated, but you'll notice there are two version in that file now. The server version was not changed. As with other optional updates, clients are not forced to get it, but will receive it next time they launch the game. Servers may download the update using the update tool, but are not required to do so. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of John Sent: Tuesday, November 20, 2012 5:23 PM To: Half-Life dedicated Linux server mailing list Subject: Re: [hlds_linux] Optional Update? This one appears to actually be a required update, as steam.inf was updated. Possibly Valve has made their delayed shutdown method the default for auto-updates, and this is why it hasn't been applied for you yet. -John _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: https://list.valvesoftware.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: https://list.valvesoftware.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/hlds _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: https://list.valvesoftware.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/hlds _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: https://list.valvesoftware.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/hlds -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: https://list.valvesoftware.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/hlds
