I'd like to add to Jason's comments that the performance of the Valve provided servers is significantly degraded when compared to well-run community servers. Now it is difficult to find a server with good performance on anything but a handful of overplayed maps (2fort, dustbowl, turbine, hightower, goldrush). This wasn't the case prior to this change. So I ask that you do one of two things:
Upgrade the Valve provided servers so they can sustain a 66 update rate to all the connected clients (mine routinely drops into the high 30s and low 40s with stable pings, I'm guessing that's CPU overloading) OR Re-enable the communities to provide superior servers. Please?
