Hello, now we have a few month an offline Steam.... Nice one, if some players use it at home. For bigger LAN-Party�s, there is no chance to let it run. There is no way to let a lot of Players update Steam or CS over one or two internet accounts with high bandwith at the same time. So the LAN-Organisators need Server who are able to update the Clients!! Or we need an offline updating Service or something like that.
When I see in future, HL2 and Mods will not become very famous, if we can do no Tournament with that engine, because there are always Patch problems, while Player are Installing/Reinsalling the game on LAN.
