I'm not

You do realize, however, that your servers will never ever be
cheat-free, no matter how often Valve updates VAC, right?

Cheating
Death comes to mind. The best months I have ever had running servers was
when CD was in full swing. It's hard to believe that one unpaid guy working
in his spare time could keep this game more cheat free than the company
that made the thing.
It's also hard to believe that one unpaid guy working in his spare
time could keep his anti-cheat tech up-to-date and running the way
 a company can.
