The reason for CD's death is still not the issue here.

No, I can't. (Yes, I can but for different reasons). There are
over 125 MODs available for HL IIRC. There are at least 10 popular
multiplayer MODs that you will find servers for. There are only
two MODs which can use VAC. All the other servers could use CD. If
it was worth it.

So why should he stop developing CD? It wouldn't be useless. All
the time we get people asking on this list when VAC will be
available for other MODs. I bet they would be happy to have a
functional and effective CD for their servers. The demand is there.

So tell me, why did he stop developing CD then? As I said, I can
understand it if it was for personal reasons. You just get tired
of this cheaters-anticheat battle after some time.
