What part of any of your post, or the previous thread has anything to do with the HLDS under Linux. Nothing. At. All. It's a client-side Windows issue.
Does this make me a "Tool of Bill", no, it makes me someone that likes to subscribe to a mailing list and get fairly on-topic correspondences within said list, not a bitchfest about how Valve is conspiring with Microsoft to piss off Linux users. (There honestly isn't a rolleyes emoticon large enough to describe how I feel about those comments...) >>There's no "Teaming up against the Linux Community", Bill Gates didn't buy >>Valve just to piss of the Linux guys and this is not a conspiracy. Another arrogant >braggart with sand instead of brains ? Please re-read my previous post. I asked to keep things on topic, and IF you were going to rant about the EVIL MS AND VALVE, go elsewhere, because this list isn't for that. I'm done with this thread as it's counterproductive to what this list is actually for, helping people with Linux HLDS issues, not throwing feeble insults at people that don't see things your way. But I'm sure you knew that already. Can we please try to keep this somewhat on topic? But sure, go to DreamCast or Disney and check if they use D3D... or even windows for their high rendering servers.... you might get surprised. >If it's one thing we've learned, the OpenSource community sucks at graphics, >so having competition is a good thing.
