Dude, where you you think these dedicated servers are hosted at? A co-lo facility maybe? No matter what type of service you are using it's up to the host to provide you with a good connection. It has nothing to do with co-lo vs. anything. If it's a dedicated server you have thats got crap for connectivity, it may not be their fault.
