Well, it might be simple to set UTF-8 as a console, but the annoying thing
is when you go through the logs to see whats happend.. and all is
jibberish. I rather have a ASCII-7 and live without the swedish
characters, than to have all these junkchars. I already get spamed by
these chars by mail... now I have to get spammed in my log files?

One nice feature would be a server setting describing what charset(s) that
are allowed on the server and let the client change it to match the
server setting.
