Thank you guys for all of the excellent suggestions, I'm still looking for a 
good howto/walk through on recompiling a kernel (I have yet to see one that 
will work well with a PE1950 running Ubuntu 6.06.1 yet).

The stats command always returns about 50 fps, hopefully getting that up to 
even 250 fps would be a huge help!

I'm also cutting three of the servers off, and will try to dedicate the 
remaining four servers to their own cores while I test the kernel recompiling.
