Hi I wonder if the old hlds_amd64 binary is still working? I can't check it out right now, but I certainly hope that it still works. I myself host around 70 x 1.6 servers with the old hlds_amd64 binary because of better performance (lower CPU usage and better FPS) and because all my servers have 8GB of memory, which is being wasted if I change the OS to 32bit.
64bit OS with the 32bit binary wont work either, because then the performance of the server is awful and it eats huge ammounts of CPU. Please allow me and other people who are using the old binary to continue to use it, because otherwise we have to do huge changes in our server hardware and probably buy more hardware because of the increased CPU usage which comes if you use the 32bit binary.
