It seems to be a quad core problem. We also run a COD4 server on this 
machine and the ff-files get also corrupted some times and the server stops 
working. We never had problems with HL1-engine based servers.

I changed back from 64bit to 32bit environment and it seems to work better, 
the problems occurs only once in a month, before it was 2 or 3 times on 
different servers.
