It seems to be a quad core problem. We also run a COD4 server on this machine and the ff-files get also corrupted some times and the server stops working. We never had problems with HL1-engine based servers.
I changed back from 64bit to 32bit environment and it seems to work better, the problems occurs only once in a month, before it was 2 or 3 times on different servers. > The server contains a Tyan motherboard with a Intel Xeon Qcore X3550, 4GB > non-ecc mem and a 10K raptor disk. > > The kernel is a 1000Hz 2.6.26-1 kernel. > > Cheers > > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Ronny > Schedel > Sent: Wednesday, September 17, 2008 12:47 PM > To: Half-Life dedicated Linux server mailing list > Subject: Re: [hlds_linux] Random map corruption > > We experience the same problem with an Intel Q6600 and source games (CSS, > DODS, TF2).
