Let's all get together and sing a rousing chorus of, "Oh how I hate
Internet Explorer!" *deep breath*
I searched the archives (that's one good thing that came out of this, I
actually know where to go to search the archives now), and I couldn't
find anything on this issue. I tried the "fix" below and it did
nothing. I've tried all kinds of combinations of padding and margins
and different right/left/top/bottom values, all with no effect.
If someone could please put me out of my misery and tell me how to fix
this problem. The images are being shifted to the left and up one pixel
somehow, but it isn't as simple as that, because they somehow being
stretched by one pixel as well in those directions, and I can't figure
out how to fix it.
Here is the relevant code in my motd.
[style]
#corner_tl { position: fixed; top: 0; left: 0; }
#corner_tr { position: fixed; top: 0; right: 0; }
#corner_bl { position: fixed; bottom: 0; left: 0; }
#corner_br { position: fixed; bottom: 0; right: 0; }
[body]
<div id="corner_tl"><img height="44" width="44"
src="images/cc_cg_tl.gif" alt="" /></div>
<div id="corner_tr"><img height="44" width="44"
src="images/cc_cg_tr.gif" alt="" /></div>
<div id="corner_bl"><img height="44" width="44"
src="images/cc_cg_bl.gif" alt="" /></div>
<div id="corner_br"><img height="44" width="44"
src="images/cc_cg_br.gif" alt="" /></div>
