Hmm how about no? Just don't play on those servers. Not everyone adds something of this nature to effect the chat on every server.
There are a ton of servers to play on and not everyone adjusts chat colors, but keep in mind that many do and they do it to separate groups such as (admins to regular players) so people know who is who which is every important. I think this is a great addition..been wanting to add a few diff colors based on one plugin for a long time now and adding in an option to disable applies way too much attention to something that does not need it. I don't see anything wrong here with adding in the colors option vs what we already had. As others have said - don't like it don't play on that server. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of dan Sent: Friday, May 11, 2012 1:04 AM To: Half-Life dedicated Linux server mailing list Subject: Re: [hlds_linux] Mandatory Team Fortress 2 Update Released On 10/05/2012 23:33, Eric Smith wrote: > To clarify: Players cannot use the custom colors. They are for plugin/mod authors. It amounts to the same problem. In fact it'll probably be worse at least you can mute clients.
