Map cp_obscure also causes people to crash while playing the map so it's
not just some payload maps that are broken. It used to be ok and no
update on it has been released for ages. Only thing that can cause it is
Valve changing something that the map uses and it's breaking it. Custom
payload maps generally are fine. I run a lot of custom maps on one of
the servers, payload, cp and koth.
There are also couple of other maps that cause issues on loading or
while playing (no, i don't remember the names) and my bet is on either
on particles or the game itself. A lot of people including me get a game
crash on "error loading lump 8, failed to allocate xxxxxx bytes!" on
random after playing 2-5 maps in a row. Lump 8 refers to lighting.

I've been trying to introduce some community made maps to one of my
servers and pl_boundary_final and pl_waste_v2 both cause most (often
all) of the clients to crash to desktop at the end of the map. I
don't see any errors in the logs, only everyone disconnecting due to
timeout.
It seems odd that these two maps have this effect but
pl_swiftwater_final_rc is fine so I'm wondering if it's a known/config
issue.
Has anyone come across this before?
