These are the facts - i received a suspicious email today and wrote to this list about it, as i have written here in the past about strange mails because people here have good heads - technical knowledge and kind intentions and are generally helpful. In my mail today i said that "i know you are trying to be kind and helpful." There is no slander there. I have not accused you of anything. I do not think that you have done anything wrong. Why are you accusing me of that?

ts, if you reread your first mail, you might be able to see several instances where you invalidate my experience of this morning by saying that it had never happened to you.
I said xyz happened to me,,, and you said well, xyz had never happened to you, and you talked about me being able to use it as a lesson, an

Don't you see how implying that something is "imaginary" is a way of invalidating a person's experience? Of implying that they just imagined the whole thing? Do you see how a person might not receive that perspective from you in a positive way?

ts - i gave you credit for trying to be kind and helpful. I did not slap you and did not patronize you, as it felt when you suggested that i look at what is imaginary and what is real.

all i can say is that nothing in my post today implied that you were in anyway involved in the suspicious mail and that i again recognize that you were trying in your own way to be helpful and kind. You tried and i acknowledged that. I don't know what more you want me to say.
