At the risk of beating a dead horse since it's been established that mdns single handedly rescued a major corporation, I have to wonder how many *geeks* would even know how to log into a laptop in their home with sshd listening. I have to say that I don't. That's sort of the problem I have with all of this: we've been conditioned for 30 years to have a monogamous relationship with DNS and now we're being asked to have some mdns nookie on the side.
