Hans, want this topic thread to end? Well, then get out of it, and the other
pros get out of it, too. This thread was about an amateur ensemble issue, the
seating of musicians. The originator of the thread is actually a much better
horn player than the person sitting in the principal position of the ensemble
she was writing about, and in her modesty she did not claim herself to this
list to be such. You pros have your own issues, and we understand that your
work environment is extremely competitive and tense.
I find the criticisms of William to be way over the top. He stated that he has
another day job (not as a horn player), and thus can play without the pressures
of a pro. Paul, in particular, is toxic and hasn't contributed a worthwhile
comment to the thread. I suggest you pros stay on your own topic threads if
you can't maintain the integrity of the thread topic as presented, as you have
highjacked this topic to vent your own pet peeves.
