Just my $0.02 (you get what you pay for!) - I have been playing with a
group that rehearses at 7:00 AM on Monday - I'm a shave, shower, hit
the road guy, so with a 6:00 wake up, at 7:00 I had no flexibility (I
am an amateur, 2-3 rehearsals plus a few hours practice a week). Just
getting up an hour earlier (two hour lead time) helped immensely.
Funny thing is, when I had 7:00 AM rehearsals in jr. and sr. high
school band, it was never an issue - I guess time does take it's toll!
