Hello Tina,

may I recommend good method to get rid of your fingering problems:

get the Josef Schantl: Great theoretical & practical Horn Method from
WIND MUSIC.

Study all the scales through & the related intervall studies & the
arpeggios & other chords, but do it on both sides of the horn, on the
F as well as on the Bb-side. Do it really twice without using the
trigger "mid way". As soon as you have conquered C, F & G major, you
will find out, that it is quite easy to flip back & forth between the
two sides. Furthermore, all the fingerings from wroitten c down to g#
or a-flat are equal on both sides, so one third of the horn“s compass
is mastered allready.

There is a special issue, if you play 4rth chair, the issue with the
lower notes. Note, that some of the notes in the octave below the a
below staff, might speak easier on the Bb-side except the g below
staff, which is good only on the F-side.

Try it. You will find out, that things work better that way.
