I want to publicly thank Dan Grabois for his thoughtful remarks about quarter tones and for all the tireless work he's put into learning, performing and developing a sound pedagogy for contemporary music. His first etude book is a wonderful addition to the standard etude books, and I look forward to trying out some of his ideas on learning quarter tone intonation.
