Pam,

I almost mentioned the disconcerting noises (to say the least)
that accompany input tray removal. As mentioned in another
reply, the smaller paper can be loaded without removing the
tray, but the first couple of times it helped me to be able to
see all of the tray, sliders, etc. and then have an accurate
idea of what I was dealing with when leaving the tray inserted.
The printer may clack, whir, wiggle but does make wonderful
prints.
