We recently purchased HP DesignJet 5500 printers to replace DJ800s. Our workflow relied on the "inked area" only feature of the DJ800s. The DJ5500 seems to use a different method to determine "inked area" which has caused us some problems.
Our experience so far is that the DJ550 only trims white space "after" the inked area. It does nothing with regard to white space "before" the inked area. The DJ800s would trim white space on both ends. Is this the same experience for other DJ5500 users? Can this be adjusted in the settings? Or is this really the way "inked area" is handled on the DJ5500? - Karl Owens ----------------------------------------------- University of Oregon School of Architecture and Allied Arts Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Phone: (541) 346-0576 ----------------------------------------------- Website: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HPDesignJet_Printers Post message: [email protected] Subscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: [EMAIL PROTECTED] List owner: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Yahoo!
