We use the PS driver. We print from both Mac and PC. When printing to a paper size larger then the layout, it does works the same as you experienced.
What happens when you print a document which includes a white margin... Does it include the white space designed into the document or does it trim that white space? In my tests on the DJ5500, the white margin before the image is included and the white margin after the image is trimmed.
