Howdy gra.fics

I've got a fancy Coda 34" motorized desktop laminator sitting
in a crate since yikes April, haven't unpacked nor used it yet.
I know, I know, that un-use is a sin, but time's been tight.

In the meantime:

I've been getting by fine for low-volume mounting with a
4" Rollataq applicator. I cut a piece of fomecore a few
inches larger than the untrimmed print. I apply the
rollataq to the fomecore. I go left to right, then top
to bottom, to ensure good coverage. I lay the print upon it. I put
sheets of 11x17 paper over the print and fomecore.
Press everything down with a roller. Put a heavy
box on top. Come back in 30 minutes. Remove box.
Remove 11x17 paper sheets. Trim up using Logan
matte cutter. Works WONDERFULLY. Not a single
failure. Neither messy nor wasteful when following
this protocol. Most excellent results. No separation,
even when the print's curly-curly cuz it's from the
end of the roll and I've had no time to flatten. Big
bargain technique with excellent results and no spray
to inhale.
