In addition to what Teddy suggested, try various:

- Different paper, hand rippled before use
- Smaller stack
- Make sure properly installed in tray, and plastic guides not pulled 
up too tight
- Tray in flush, have to push firmly to insert properly
- Look for paper fragments in path
- Check printer driver settings, use tray instead of auto
- Read applicable troubleshooting section in manual

In other words, all the usual things one does with paper feed 
problems.  If nothing works, time for service.
