Well I did try the cure and it did work fine for me. Now, I have another
smaller hp printer, and for that one I never had to install anything. I just
plugged it in. I have another printer which I use occasionally which is also
hp, I will have to try it out, but usually I dont need to install printers, it
just automatically recognize them. The only problematic one for me has been the
designjet 130.

reinstall. After reinstalling all the other software many hours later you will

130's maintenance still works.
Last time I looked mine is working so I'll cross my fingers with each upgrade
to the other
software that often break the 130's drivers which include the 9180, and Z3100
being the
culprits.
