Hello:

OK, there is no heater so the heat must be coming from a power 
supply/transformer, but there is SOME difference...I still wonder why 
that power supply or whatever it is remains ON after the power button 
is pushed off...Why not turn off everything if it makes no 
difference?...I also noticed that area gets cooler when the printer 
is just left totally on...This leads me to believe a fan must be 
blowing on that power supply when in operation...

Again, I don't know and am probably making it much more complicated 
than it is...Still an interesting discussion...
