Hi all: I somewhat new to printing on a Designjet 130. I bought one the past August. It's a great printer and I am very please with my results so far. I've printed several museum quality fine art print editions, which are spot on with the color reproduction. I have also printed beautiful looking b/w and color exhibition prints. I use high-end Hahnemühle fine art and photography papers. But I need some advise and help on getting a good "plain" b/w or grayscale print on a standard white inkjet paper or heavy white coated paper, such as the hp proofing or photo matt paper. My grayscale prints always seem to shift to the blues or greens. I am looking to get a good quality grayscale print with a good range of cool grays print or warm gray print. The black is good, it the grayscale between the black to white where the shifting happens. I have used a standard grayscale camo pattern as a test. You know the military type camoflaouge patterns, as well a s a grayscale color chart card.
An recommendation for printer settings and what is the best profiles to use would be very helpful. I use a iMac 10.5.5 and photoshop 3.3 to print [email protected] ------------------------------------ Website: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HPDesignJet_Printers Post message: [email protected] Subscribe: [email protected] Unsubscribe: [email protected] List owner: [email protected] Yahoo!
