trying to compile 3.2.0b3 I get the following error:

checking host system type... configure: error: can not guess host type; you 
must specify one. I assume i would do this as follows:

./configure --host-type=powerpc-apple-darwin1.3.7

but I don't know the version of darwin running in 10.1 nor how to find out!
