According to Natalija Stevens: > I have set text_factor to 0, but the words from the text are still being > picked up not only in pdf and docs but in html files as well. > What do you suggest to look for?
The second paragraph of http://www.htdig.org/FAQ.html#4.14 Setting a factor to 0 lowers the score for words of that type, but it doesn't suppress them from the results - it just pushes them to the end. > Is there anything else in config file that > needs changing. I imagine you have either the 3.1.6 final (stable) release, or you have a snapshot of 3.2.0b4. Either way, you should be able to get the version number, including release date for a snapshot, by running "htdig -\? | head" and looking for the 3rd line of output, which begins "This program is part of ht://Dig ..." The "..." will be the full version number, which should accompany any bug or trouble report. (I'm currently adding a note about this to the FAQ, question 5.33). -- Gilles R.
