Hullo All, I suspect that the problem may be something silly that I'm doing, but can't see what it is. I have been so busy of late on other things that when I do get back to the enjoyable stuff I'm never sure that I know what I'm doing :-) Up until recently I have been using Hugin on Fedora 8 system (X86_64) and have kept it up to date. I installed Fedora 9 a few weeks ago, and installed the Hugin 0.7.0-1 fc9 x86_64 rpm. The last pano I created was 26 Oct using the Fedora 8 release of 0.7.0-1 and everything worked OK using the assistant. Yesterday I had a new set of pics to stitch and have had all sorts of bother with the Fedora 9 package. Auto control point generation reports quite large errors, and the preview will only show one image at a time. I select 'All' but it doesn't change the view. In the stitch tab, the 'calc field of view' will only come up with the value for a single image, yet a look at the control points tab shows that control points have been generated in the image overlaps OK, so would expect the pano to have a horiz field of view of at least 3x that of single image (I have 4 images). The stitched pano ends up as only one of the images, which might be why the preview only displays one image, and is consistent with the horizontal field of view in the stitch tab. I have never seen this behaviour before. I am using autopano-SIFT, and have have had the projection set to rectilinear, although have also tried equirectangular with same result. One attempt, with the projection set to rectilinear, showed a preview of one circular image within a rectangular frame. Either there is something amiss with the Fedora 9 build, or something is amiss with what I am doing...or maybe all of the above. I expect Hugin would be using my configuration settings (.hugin file) which haven't altered for a while. I always save my /home to a separate disc and recover after a new system installation. Any help gratefully received.
