I'm not sure what is going wrong and I can't test, is this a system
upgraded from fc8 to fc9? Are the hugin/libpano13 packages from the
fedora updates repository or from my 'bugbear' repository?

Can you send me one of these .pto projects that don't work, and the
output of these two commands:

   rpm -qi hugin enblend libpano13
   which hugin

One thing to try is saving the project and re-optimising it on the
command-line:

   autooptimiser -n -o test.pto project.pto

If you then open the new 'test.pto' project with hugin, does it look
any different?
