By taking the following approach, you allow for the bracketed images
to be aligned less than perfectly (e.g., hand held). Your approach
will probably fail on hand held images because of imperfect alignment
between stacks.

Enfuse the 12 stacks (result: 12 fused images)
Enblend the 12 fused images
