We already have this, set output to: 'orthographic', aspect ratio to 
1:1 and angle of view to 180.  Use drag mode to spin the sphere.

However, I really don't think looking at the panorama from the 
outside like this is a very useful GUI interface - Scenes need to be 
seen from inside.
