Hello,
I seem to get reasonable results on the 50%-downscaled images. I have
used ImageMagick's "convert" to scale and convert [1]. To make things
easier I named the images files like this:
A1-26-pa00030m.jpg A2-23-pa00027m.jpg A3-24-pa00028m.jpg
B1-06-pa00010m.jpg B2-03-pa00007m.jpg B3-04-pa00008m.jpg

Rectilinear lense with focal length 200mm / degrees of view 10° seems
to be a good estimate. I selected A2 as anchor for position and
exposure and guessed a pitch of 5° for it.

Adding control points was quite "fiddly" since there is little
overlap. I disabled auto fine tune and auto-estimate and worked at
100% zoom. I have added 3-6 control points for each image pair (a1
a2, a2 a3, a1 b1, a2 b2, a3 b3, b1 b2, b2 b3)

Now for optimzation, go to optimizer tab. Optimize [Positions
(incremental)] and after that [positions and view]), For good measure
I also optimzed positions and barrel distortion. I did not optimize
for exposure at all.

Projection rectangular, calculate FoV and Optimal size. Stich now.

cu andreas
