What did I do differently than you? Also, I didn't see any "remap"
buttons that you mentioned?
OK. I loaded images from assistant tab, then went to images tab and
created control points. I then tried the most basic optimise, then a few
iterations of clean control points in images tab and reoptimise. As
optimisation got better I optimised more parameters.
In the Fast preview window I fiddled with the field of view sliders and
move/drag to centralise the image.
I then stitched, and selected remapped images, exposure corrected, low
dynamic range.
I'm running hugin 2011.3.0, a very recent build. My memory is a bit hazy,
but I would expect that the optiion to save remapped images was available
in 2010.4.0.
If you do have the option to save remapped images in the stitcher tab, it
is probably worth also going to preferences, programs and ensure that
'create cropped images by default' is not selected. That will ensure that
your remapped images are each positioned in the right place on the same
sized 'canvas'.
Cheers,
