I noticed that too. Lawrence, you're using the wrist position that I might use for a solo trompette-less piece where I was varying wheel speed to change volume; not for an rhythm-based group session. I'd be inclined to bring your forearm closer to the HG and straighten your wrist. But if it works for you, stick with it!
