Yes, get the slippy stuff.
It probably is the humidity causing the wood to swell a little (it will 
probably recover when the air gets drier so don't do anything too extreme just 
yet).
While waiting for the slippy stuff (liquid Teflon), you could try getting a 
very soft pencil - at least a 4B - and scraping a little of the lead (graphite) 
onto a slip of paper with a small knife. Pick the dust up with a dry paint 
brush and lightly dust the point where it is sticking. be careful as it remains 
black where it touches so don't spread it around and KEEP WELL AWAY FROM THE 
WHEEL. You may be able to see where the sticking is happening by looking for a 
shiny area on the wood where it's catching. 
That method fixed three sticking keys for me several years ago (and they are 
still OK).
If neither method works, it may be a visit to the maker is ion order for some 
more serious surgery  (but it probably will work).
The slippy stuff is better to work with but the pencil is usually to hand.

remove the tangets and lightly sand  and i mean a little i also got a product 
called slipper stuff  from  neil brook and itworks really good just painted on
