As a programmer, i'm required by law to follow that up with a hell yeah...
However, there are all sorts of little missing features/quirks with the RM1-X
that scream of a rushed launch date. These are the sort of things it's good to
nag vendors about, as the changes are usually easy, and make the product better.
I don't know if it's possible to flash upgrade the box, or if the rom is
socketed, but I'd gladly shell out for an upgade that featured
1) Grid mode without solo (I've been trying to figure out why grid mode was done
that way - it makes it almost useless
2) Step mode wrap-around in both direction. (Easy, removes real pain in neck).
3) Hot key to clone current phrase to next unused phrase
4) Smarter defaults in jobs (default copy targets should be next unused item)
5) Undo from edit and step mode (undo last change only).
6) Allow commands to be bound to shift-f1 -> shift-f4
Olaf - are these on the list? I expect the first is at the top of everybody's
wish list
Simon
