I was wondering this too.

I only had my RM1x for two days now, but it seems that there
is no way to record pattern muting and switching using the
RM1x alone. I had assumed that it would be able to record
this stuff into a pattern chain or song, but this appears
not the be the case. Or am I missing something?

Basically when in a Section ( pattern ) I like to be able to
record starting off with just say the a simple drum line
playing, and then slowly building up the tune by slowly
unmuting the other tracks ( phrases ) .

How do you folks build up your songs?

I finally went and read the manual, but this just confused
the hell out of me even more!

Regards,

Menno
