I became a Gnome so I could switch keyboard layouts and tested how H2 handles
all that stuff (mostly using a Russian layout).
It was BAD. :-/
Opening and saving files was stable with the patch... but...
* If the song file had non-latin content (e.g. for titles)...
it appears fine. When you save and then reload the file,
the strings become garbage.
* If a pattern has a non-latin title, I can't get it to
show up in the SoundLibrary.
* I got a couple segfaults while exiting. Happened in
QApplication::~QApplication()
* The filenames that show up in the recent list get
loaded a garbage if they're non-latin.
I'm holding back this patch until I stabilize the content issues that I found.
...it's a wonder that *any* Russian uses this program. :-)
