Hi, Tiago...

Sorry for the delay, but I was out today....

Yep... You have a point... My translations are pt_BR, but... do You thing that it would be so difficult for us to make a win-win game? I don't think so... :)

Sure they are many different expressions, but as our mother language has nowadays the same structure and words, it'll be a good collaboration effort.

About Your wish to translation being close to the last devel version, I don't have any issues with that, just thing that all OTRS power is more available on 2.4.x. And besides, many, if not all translations from 2.4.x that I have would be re-used by 3.x. So don't have to start from the 'start', but from more a middle point.

Any way, I just wanted to help.... :)

Just a side note: my translations are for version 2.4.x and not for
3.x... :(

Edson.

Hi Edson,

Thank you very much for getting back to me.

I would like to keep translations updated with upstream, which in turn
would help all projects who chose to package OTRS (Debian, Fedora,
CentOS, etc).

I think that (I believe this is true in gettext) having 3.x translated
can also be used by 2.4.x, but I might be wrong. I'm more than happy to
coordinate with you and share work/translations.

Please forgive me if I'm making a wrong assumption, since it's only
based on your name, but I'm referring to the translation of pt
(commonly known as pt_PT). Are you working on pt as well or pt_BR?

Even though the two are coming even more close together, there are
still enough differences to justify having the two options available
for end-users.

Abraço,

Tiago
