I did a lap around Saylorville Lake this afternoon.  There was a raft  of 
~900 ducks (Mallards most numerous, ~600, followed by Lesser Scaup,  ~220, 
then 1-20 of the others) off the dam that contained 13 species.   Birds of 
interest included:
 
1 Red-throated Loon
5 Common Loons
9 Red-breasted Mergansers
1 Horned Grebe
1 pelican
