This morning at Saylorville there were 23 Willets, 3 Hudsonian Godwits, and 1 Marbled Godwit among the shorebirds off Jester. There were also 3 Eared Grebes present. Jay Gilliam found a Red-necked Grebe that is best seen from the dam looking toward Cherry Glen. Other migrants seen this morning included Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Clay-colored and Lark sparrows, and Palm Warbler.
