I remember Greg mentioned (sometime last year) that processing had been made more intelligent in determining if the AS should be made non-reuseable or not, i.s.o. formerly making every XM AS non-reuseable. This could help when making a large jump from OS/390 to 1.4. Again, the other interesting part is why DB2 should be recycled periodically.
