Gadi,

If you have MXI G2 (not MXI 4.3) you can issue the "USP" line command
against the address space in the "DA" display

This will summarise private area subpool storage by subpool+key - you
can then drill down into the LSQA subpools for more information (the
LSQA subpools are indicated by "LSQA" in the "Type" column).

MXI 4.3 also has a "USP" command - but this does not include LSQA.

You could also take an in-flight dump of the CICS region using the z/OS
"DUMP" command and then use IPCS "VSMLIST"

Subject: LSQA shortage

Hi,

Today we started getting LSQA Shortage messages (IEW4004I) form one of
our CICS regions.

How can I define the amount of LSQA for a task?

How can I find out the size of LSQA and who is using it?

I have CA-SYSVIEW/E, MXI and RMF available.

TIA

Gadi
