Does anyone know how to set the primary screen size in IBM Personal
Communications?
The primary screen size is fixed at 24x80. The alternate screen size is
whatever you configure as your screen size in PCOMM (either the standard
sizes via Communications->Configure->Session Parms panel or custom sizes
via editing of the .ws files).

No. The PCOMM primary screen size is *not* always fixed at 24x80. You
can set it to whatever you want by using the right kind of logmode. For
example, the following sets primary size to 51x80 and alternate to 62x132:
|******************************************************************
|* 51X80 AND 62X132 *
|******************************************************************
|P5162132 MODEENT LOGMODE=P5162132,
| FMPROF=X'03',TSPROF=X'03',
| PRIPROT=X'B1',SECPROT=X'90',COMPROT=X'3080',
| RUSIZES=X'87F8',APPNCOS=#CONNECT,
| PSERVIC=X'02800000000033503E847F00'
This and other interesting logmodes can be found at
