Hi all, After an IPL last night to bring in CO and PRE REQs for z/OS 1.7 with 1.4, I have two volumes that are not accessible by my application programmers, thankfully they are test volumes. From IBM utilities(3.4), when a programmer tries a browse of any data set on one of these volumes, message "Volume TSTP49 not mounted or not authorized for your use" displays. When cmd D SMS,VOLUME(TSTP49) is issued, display is : VOLUME UNIT SYSTEM= 1 2 3 4 5 TSTP49 . . + + . The UNIT address is not displayed,also from ISMF the MVS VOLUME STATUS is OFFLINE. All other volumes units display and status is ONLINE. However, userids with RACF attributes of UAUDIT or OPERATIONS can browse these files on the affected volumes.
