No. I've asked about that internally, but ...

... VPS EXIT01 is supposed to check for WTR=PDF (it does, according to
the LRS-supplied source code), and if so to suppress the CC and any
charset translation. What's NOT made clear is whether an XWTR named PDF
has to be running (seems to me that one should be running), or what
parms to code on the IEFRDER DD statement. The vendor product that
produces the PDF doesn't tell us anything about the output structure, so
I'm "ass.u.me"-ing it resembles a RECFM=U dataset (does JES2 know how to
spool that kind of dataset?). They don't provide a PDF writer (neither
does VPS, as far as I can tell), so I'll probably just try "cloning" the
IBM-supplied XWTR proc just to see what happens, if anything. So if you
see a large dust cloud in the northern Chicago suburbs within the next
half-hour or so, you'll know I just blew up our sandbox system. :-)
